Cancellation Policy

Right of cancellation


You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without having to provide a reason for cancellation.

 

The cancellation period runs for fourteen days from the day on which the contract was concluded.

 

If you wish to exercise your cancellation rights, you must inform us of your decision to revoke this contract by sending a clear statement by post, fax or email to BRANDNER Schiffahrt GmbH, Ufer 15, 3313 Wallsee, Austria or schiffahrt@brandner.at, +43 (0) 7433 25 90-21. Please feel free to use the cancellation form below, if you wish.

 

A contract is deemed to have been cancelled within the cancellation period when you have sent notification of your desire to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

 

Consequences of cancellation


In the event that you cancel this contract, we will refund any payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs that have been incurred as a result of selecting a type of delivery other than the most economic standard delivery that we offered) immediately, and within a maximum of fourteen days of us having received notification that you wish to exercise your right to revoke this contract. We will refund your payments using the same means of payment as that used for the original transaction, unless an alternative arrangement has been expressly agreed with you. You will not be charged with any fees for this refund.

 

If you have requested us to begin providing services before the cancellation period has elapsed, you will need to pay us an appropriate amount to cover the costs of services supplied up until the point in time that you notify us of your desire to exercise your right to cancel this contract, calculated pro rata based on the total volume of services planned in this contract.

 

The right to cancellation does not apply to the following contracts:

 

  • Contracts for the provision of services in the field of accommodation for purposes other than residential purposes, the transport of goods, car rental, delivery of food and drink, and the provision of other services in connection to recreational activities, if the contract stipulates that services will be provided on a specific date or over a specific period of time.
